A friend of mine has received a bunch of calls from this number but when she called back, it charges her international rate. The number looks something like this 01xx xxxx xxxx. How would it show on the mobile if the calls is from US?

011444 then local number

01 *** YYY-ZZZZ is the US format
XXX define what city or area you are calling.
YYY defines what zone within that city or area.
ZZZZ are the numbers within that zone
We refer to *** as an ‘area code’
YYY as a ‘prefix’
and ZZZZ is usually just blurred in with YYY as the phone number.
Below is a list of all area codes.
Note: There were some popular 809 scams several years back.
