The form says I can elect to continue my BCBS HMO coverage (Illinois) for $362 and the Dental for $38.04. The form calls these the premium rates. Now, I am eligible for the 65% reduction, but I am wondering, is this price already reflecting the discount or is that the base price that the reduction will be based upon?
yes i’m single no dependents

Iam currently in Afghnistan with my unit. I recently bought a cell phone from one of the local shops and bought minutes for the phone using a prepaid phone card. I pay 11 dollars for 500 units and get to talk for about thirty minutes calling back to the U.S. I dont want to get a phone from the U.S. and have to a contract and have a international phone plan either. Does anybody know any loop holes on getting more minutes on my phone for damn near nothing to pay? My girlfriend has at&t in Alaska but doesnt have an international plan. If she calls me its free on my end but alot on hers. I dont want her to be buying internatioal phone cards because that also get spendy. I dont mind talking to her through the internet but I also want to have some privacy using my cell phone. I am just trying to get mor bang for my buck is only phone cards to recharge minutes on my phone. Also word of mouth is that if your in Afghanistan using a quad band GSM phone using U.S. internationl calling rates, within two weeks the Afghanistan phone towers will locate your number and block you from making calls. Basically they are trying to keep from going out of buisiness and make their money… I dont blame them they have to make a living. But if anyone can give me loop hole to go through or a website that will give a ton of minutes for less dollar or is there a secret code I can put in my cell just something anything. Thankyou sincerely your soldier fighting for freedom. P.S. My phone brand name is a nokia 1208 and yes it uses a sim card but its a afghanistan sim card.

does ordering from the dr mean a deal bc they order so much from their supplier ( for their patients) that they get a discount? im curious bc i had an appointment and the dr told me to call them the next day so they could reorder my new contacts for me. i already wear contacts and my dr knows this. i usually buy them online as do most people. im assuming since drs keep telling their patients to order from them, maybe they offer special discounts. do you know?

I just switched both my old home & auto policies to metlife (from Amica & GEICO), due to substantial rate savings. My quote & initial paperwork for the new home owners policy provided for a “superior home discount” of 10%. After my first year premium was paid in full, I received a notice from the insurance company that the discount was removed, with no explanation, with a bill for the remaining amount due. How can they retroactively increase my premium like this? Obviously, I will call tomorrow, but I am irrate, since I just went through all of this trouble to switch, in reliance on the rate being lower due to the discounts !
Just to clarify: my policy has not renewed. I just paid for my first year upfront, and immediately they send me paperwork saying, “discount removed, additional *** owed.”

Going on holiday to Los Angeles. Need to know cost of calls if I use my UK mobile to contact other USA relatives WHILE I AM THERE. To clarify, would these be considered “local” calls charged at local rates, or would I still be paying “international” and/or “roaming” rates even though I am making USA calls whilst in the USA, albeit using a UK phone? Hope that is clear :o}

any airline gurus out there that can take this?? If an airline has lots of available seats, and you call within hours of a flight, why wouldn’t you get HUGE discounts??? Are there any secrets to get last minute flights at a big discount?

Which cell phone company has the cheapest international rates or plans for calling overseas from the US? Specifically for calling to Germany. Alltel lets you call for .20 a min after paying a international rate fee of 3.99 a month anyone know anything better?
